Venus shamanica, for processed electric guitars.
In 1864 marquis Paul de Vibraye found an ancient feminine statuette in the Vézère valley, in France. Deceived by its pronounced sexual attributes, he called the statuette Venus impudica (immodest Venus). This was the first of a serie of so called Venus figurines, dated from stone age, that were found everywhere in Europe. There has been much speculation, but no one really knows the function of these figurines. Whether they were symbols of Mother goddess or just curious feminine depictions, one thing is for sure: they are elaborate expressions of thought, forms of abstraction.

Animacusmatica, concrete music and instruments.
Animacusmatica, crasis of anima acusmatica, means acousmatic soul/breath. Acousmatic is a term to describe a sound as itself, not associated with its original source. As a result, sound - and noise - is free to take a new identity which may be re-composed in unusual musical ways, and, as a new object with specific characteristics, it is a form of abstraction.

This album has been mastered preserving its full dynamic range. Bandcamp doesn't use normalization on audio, so this record could sounds quieter than some. For full enjoyment simply turn up the volume!

Venere sciamanica, per chitarre elettriche processate.
Nel 1864 il marchese Paul de Vibraye trovò un'antica statuetta femminile nella valle della Vézère, in Francia. Ingannato dalle sue pronunciate caratteristiche sessuali, chiamò la statuetta "Venere impudica". Questa fu la prima di una serie di cosiddette figurine di Venere, datate dall'età della pietra, che furono trovate ovunque in Europa. Ci sono state molte speculazioni, ma nessuno sa veramente quale fosse la funzione di queste figurine. Che fossero raffigurazioni simboliche della Dea Madre o semplicemente curiose rappresentazioni femminili, una cosa è certa: sono elaborate espressioni di pensiero, forme di astrazione.

Animacusmatica, musica concreta e strumenti.
Animacusmatica, crasi di anima acusmatica. Acusmatico è un termine per descrivere un suono in sé, non associato alla sua fonte originale. Di conseguenza il suono/rumore è libero di assumere una nuova identità che può essere ricomposta musicalmente e, come un nuovo oggetto con caratteristiche specifiche, è una forma di astrazione.

Questo album è stato masterizzato preservandone l'intera gamma dinamica. Bandcamp non utilizza la normalizzazione dell'audio, quindi questo disco potrebbe suonare ad un volume più basso rispetto ad altri. Per apprezzarne l'ampiezza e varietà dinamica il consiglio è uno solo: alza il volume!
